Hey People!
We need a San Diego-based voice teacher to join our team!
We’re looking for some friendly, positive-minded, constructive people! We’d like someone with an advanced degree and a certificate or other post-graduate work with vocal pedagogy. We’d also like someone who’s taken pedagogical work in CCM since most of our clients are pop, rock, R&B, jazz, blues, etc singers.
I know most places just hire someone who has a pulse and bachelor’s degree, but we also have something to offer you:
- We are a W2 employer so you will get a W2 which makes finding an apartment much easier! We also offer paid holidays when they fall on one of your teaching days, paid vacation, and – of course – paid sick days.
- You won’t need to travel – we will have a nice studio for you in La Jolla where clients will meet you – and La Jolla Cove is super close in case you wanna walk down and get stoned at the beach after! (Not that I’d know anything abt that)
- We offer continuing education benefits
Our ideal candidate;
- Lives in the San Diego area
- Speak English fluently
- Has an advanced degree in vocal pedagogy (or vocal performance and a certificate in pedagogy)
- Speaks Mandarin and/or Korean (we’re asking for a lot but why not just throw that out into the universe and see what happens)
- If you have studied Alexander Technique that would be amazing!
